I Just Had to Share This With You

I am lounging on my bed, laptop on lap, headphones on (Dire Straits). I have a cup of tea and some cranberry and orange buscuits beside me. The sun is shining.

The small boy is at school. The small girl is at playgroup. The baby is at Jane's. Himself is out.
I am home alone!

I have two whole hours to write, and I'm on a roll. The muse has me firmly by the hand and is leading me towards her friends, Success and Fortune. Wish me productivity. Please! I need to make the most of this!

Now don't do what I would, and immediately start thinking of all the other things that need doing.

GOOD LUCK - a great opportunity to Get On With It!!

Karen - Oh, no chance of that!

Cal - Thanks! I did!

JJ - I was a very good girl; I only checked my email twice!

Jen & Helen - I did really well. Post to follow shortly!

TF - LOL! I must confess that I do, sometimes, drop off if I'm working very late at night, sitting in bed, with the electric blanket on, after a beer...!

Ahhhh....bliss. That dense nobody-in silence when all the children are being looked after by somebody else. Oh yes. It's soooo good!

Lucy - It was really quite unsettling at first; took me a while to get used to it!
