I'm a Busy Bee!

Bees are a bit of a theme in our house, so I am a particularly delighted recipient of the Busy Bee Award, which Sally has given me in recognition of my trying to write whilst looking after small children (although, I don't actually attempt these things at the same time).

I would like to bestow the honour on my fellow scramblers-up-the-laundry-mountain: Karen (yes, I know you've had it), Jen, and Lane.

Attempting to do them at the same time? That way madness must surely lie.

Thank you Leigh:-)

I am almost laundry free today - well , for a couple of hours anyway. Hope you've reached the summit now and are happily sliding down the other side:-)

Thanks for that Leigh!

I was laundry free, but it's piling up again...

Aw, thanks Lovely. I actually washed everything imaginable over the weekend until the sherry kicked in. Now it's all balanced in a six-foot pile in my writing chair.

Ho hum.

I'm mainly laundry free - but I did spend most of yesterday defrosting the freezer and trying to work out why the fridge is making a funny dripping sound! What a glamorous life I do lead!

I am truly impressed that you all achieve moments of laundry-freeness. I have never experienced this.
Leigh - many congrats on your award. I hope this week is better than the last.

JJ - Occasionally I get a few minutes break while the small girl is watching telly at lunchtime, but it's never long enough to actually get my head into anything. Any other time would be complete madness, sure!

Lane - Well, the baskets have made it to the top of the stairs... and the master basket is only half full again so far [sigh]

Karen - You're welcome!

Jen - On your writing chair? Whose idea was it to put it there. Is this some sort if masochism, or someone else's idea of how to get things done? ;-)

Helen - And the dripping sound was.....?

Maddie - I have been up-to-date with the washing (that is, everything put away and not enough in the basket for another load) twice... since May last year!

Hi Leigh...just visited ST (fab idea) and tried to leave a comment (double G&T please, ice and a slice) but a message popped up saying only team members were allowed to comment and wouldn't let me put in my order. Wahh...did I miss something?
