There was a rule in our house as I grew up that a cat on a chair stayed there: the human had to find another chair. Maybe my Mum was an Egyptian in a previous life because cats come above all else.

Leigh Forbes said...: JJ - Sadly the rule in this house is that if the cat's on my seat, he gets off. It's not ideal, I know, but he does (as you see) choose to sleep in some rather awkward places (for other people, that is).
